Western New York FCU is always looking for ways to give back to the community. We participate in sev eral charitable activities each year and are always looking for ways to donate our services and help those in need. Some of are most recent activities include:
| Scholarship Fund- Each year WNYFCU and the Buffalo Chapter of Credit Unions award a scholarship to local high school senior. This years winner of the college scholarship was Andy Huebert. |

| American Cancer Society's "Relay For Life" - The WS Relay For Life Event was held on June 12,2010 at WS East Sr. HS. Despite the rain many people came out and joined in on walking in honor and memory of loved ones. The Western New York Federal Credit Union raised a record dollar amount of $11,001.10 through all kinds of fund raisers to include a Bake Good Sale, Beer Blast, Chinese Auction, etc......
Thank you to Patsy Walsh our breast cancer survivor and team member for all your fundraising efforts. You have clearly made a HUGE contribution to this years success.

Relay for Life Fundraising 2010

Kathleen Mary House - This year will be our 4th year that we adopted the Kathleen Mary House for the Holidays, which is a home ran by volunteers for women and children who are victims of domestic violence. We raffled off baskets, sold candy bars, and had the women and children make up wish lists and posted them in our lobby. With the help of our Community, Members and the credit union staff we fulfilled all their wishes and needs at the holidays.
