WNYFCU Is Now A Community Charter Credit Union

Western New York Federal Credit Union is now a community charter credit union. The board of directors approved the community charter on November 16, 2005. This means Western New York Federal Credit Union can now accept members who live, work, and worship, attend school and business and other legal entities in the municipalities of Buffalo, Lackawanna, Cheektowaga, West Seneca, Orchard Park, Elma, Lancaster and Aurora. Our old field of membership includes family members and employees of the following groups:

• Western New York Childrens Psychiatric Center in West Seneca, New York.
• Employees of the Western New York Developmental Disabilities Services Office who work in Niagara, Genesee, Orleans or Erie Counties, New York except those employed in the village of Gowanda or town of Collins, New York, or at the following homes: the Lakeview IRA in Lakeview, New York, the Sherman Avenue
