Other Services

Along with savings, checking and loan and online services, Western New York Federal Credit Union offers a number of additional services to its members. These services are simply meant to help enhance your benefits as a member of the Credit Union and they are available to you either for free or at a very minimal cost.

Voice Response Unit

Our Voice Response Unit (VRU) gives you 24 hour access to your account via telephone. With VRU, you can check your account balances and activity and perform transfers.

Instructions to us use VRU:

  • Just call (716) 674-3199 and press option #6.
  • You will need your nine digit account number, which can be found on your statement in the upper right corner.
  • First time users access codes are set to the first five digit of the primary account holder’s social security number.
  • The first time your account is accessed, you will be required to change your access code to a number of your own choice.

Direct Deposit

Convenient automatic and safe, Direct Deposit is a smart and easy way to have your paycheck, retirement check, or Social Security check deposited automatically into your account.

Payroll Deduction

As a member of the Western New York Federal Credit Union, you can deposit funds into your savings and checking account or make loan payments through our convenient payroll deduction. When you apply for a savings/checking account or a loan, you can elect what amount should be deducted from your pay. That amount will be automatically deducted each paycheck and distributed to your accounts.

Free Notary Service

Western New York Federal Credit Union has employees that are able to notarize your documents. This service is free to all members of the credit union. Please bring your state- or government-issued identification such as your driver’s license or passport when you come in to have your documents notarized.

Money Orders

For those times when you can’t use a personal check, money orders are an easy way to make payments. For a minimal fee, you can purchase money orders at the credit union.

Certified Checks

Certified Checks are checks guaranteed by the Western New York Federal Credit Union. Certified Checks are usually treated as cash since funds are either transferred from a member account or cash is paid to the credit union upon requesting a certified check.

Discount Amusement Park Tickets

At Western New York Federal Credit Union, we’re all about helping people. Our members receive valuable discounts on admission to area attractions just for being part of our credit union family. You and your family can have some fun, and pay a little less while enjoying life.

Discount Movie Tickets

Why pay full price to see a movie? As a member of the Western New York Federal Credit Union, you are eligible to purchase discount movie tickets. Tickets are available for sale at the credit union, and are good anytime, for any movie.

Travelers Checks

Travelers checks are available to our members at a minimum fee of $1.00 for every $100.00 purchase. To obtain travelers checks, simply come into the Credit Union office and our staff will take care of the rest.
