COVID-19 Updates

We hope this finds you well. Our members and our staff’s health and wellness are our first priority. We are constantly monitoring this situation, as it is very fluid, changing very quickly. We intend to keep you updated as we move forward. Feel free to review this letter to our membership, which may address some of your concerns.

Credit Unions are considered an essential service by New York State. That being said, our staff is still here to serve you.

Effective immediately, we have temporarily suspended our hours on Saturdays until further notice.

Current operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, teller transactions available through the drive-thru only.

Our lobby is closed until further notice, in-branch services available by appointment only. To make an appointment for a notary, to sign for a loan or open an account, please call 716-771-5016 or 716-771-5010.

If you have a financial hardship due to COVID-19, we are here to help. Consider applying for our COVID-19 Skip-a-Payment Assistance Plan. Click here for more information and to apply.

Please remember that your money is safe here are WNY FCU, and your accounts are fully insured by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF) up to $250,000.  There is no risk to keeping money in your account, but there are countless risks to holding cash.

Loan applications can still be submitted online here. Loan closings will be completed by appointment.

We are taking many precautions for everyone’s safety. Please remember that we offer services so that you can perform many transactions without coming to the credit union. 

You can make deposits in the Night Deposit Box, located to the right of the ATM at the back of the building

There are also more than 55,000 Surcharge-free Allpoint ATMs available to WNYFCU members with ATM and debit cards. Find a convenient ATM location here.

Please access Home Banking on a computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone which can be used to:

  • Check Balances
  • Transfer Funds
  • Make Loan Payments
  • Deposit Checks (via Mobile Deposit)

We have also instituted an automatic (for qualified members) Skip-A-Pay program for our Visa Credit Card program, beginning April 1 through May 31, 2020.
